The best environmental projects from all over Austria were honored - Over 300 submissions show innovative strength and commitment to climate protection.
On September 18, the Energy Globe Austria 2024 awards ceremony took place at the ORF Landesstudio Linz. The best environmental projects from Austria were honored. It is incredible how successful this unique initiative from Austria is worldwide, demonstrating implemented solutions for meaningful environmental protection and supported by high-ranking personalities. 30,000 implemented environmental projects have already been submitted.
We at Wiegon are all the more proud that we have been nominated for the Energy Globe Austria in the “Sustainable Community” category with our project “The most modern recycling center in Europe”, the Ischgl recycling center. It wasn't enough to win this time, but the nomination alone shows that we are on the right track with our autonomous recycling center system. Congratulations to our Wiegon team and thank you to our customers for their trust!
