The newly built recycling center in Steinach is shared by 13 municipalities in the Tyrolean Wipptal and has been using the Wiegon system for 3 years.

The facility has several automatic weighing stations and an entry system with license plate recognition and extended opening hours. In addition, the Wiegon employee app is used intensively for recording other chargeable fees. At the Wiegon info terminal, citizens have a complete overview of their charges.

Digital operating model

Operations are organised by staff. Key processes can be carried out digitally by staff and also by members of the public themselves. This enables us to facilitate 100,000 convenient visits per year, with high-quality recycling and high customer satisfaction.
