We are delighted to have won, together with Fiegl & Spielberger, the tender for a comprehensive digitalisation project for the provincial capital, St. Pölten.
Four new recycling centres at different locations across the city will be digitised, and residents will benefit from improved services and secure, seamless processes.
St. Pölten is the capital of Lower Austria and the largest city in the federal state. With four sites within the city limits, a solution is needed that not only covers a single recycling centre but brings all the centres together on a single platform. This is precisely where the project comes in.
Everything is interconnected
In St. Pölten, several components come together: digital access solutions, early fire detection and surveillance systems, as well as software solutions for residents, for staff at the recycling centres and for the operator. Thanks to the interplay of all these components, operations at all four sites run safely and smoothly.
The project at a glance
- Four recycling centres in the St. Pölten area
- Digital access solutions for residents
- Early fire detection and surveillance for greater safety
- Software for residents, staff and the operator
- Hybrid and autonomous implementation stages
- Implemented in collaboration with Fiegl & Spielberger
A digital start, autonomous growth
The project begins digitally. In the next stage, the recycling centres will be developed into hybrid and autonomous operating models. For residents, this means better service and extended opening hours. In this way, the system grows in line with the city’s needs.
Thank you for your trust
We would like to thank the city of St. Pölten for its trust and Fiegl & Spielberger for their excellent cooperation. We look forward to a successful implementation and to making the recycling centres in St. Pölten ready for the digital future.
