Dr. Thomas Brudermann
University of Graz - Environmental Psychology & Climate Communication
Dr. Thomas Brudermann is an environmental psychologist and associate professor at the University of Graz. His research and teaching focuses on climate psychology, behavioral economics and sustainable action. One focus of his work is on the psychological barriers to climate protection - and how we can overcome them. In 2022, his book “The Art of the Excuse” was published - awarded the Eunice Foote Prize for Scientific Climate Communication.

Ulrich Koch
Lawyer & expert for municipal waste management
Ulrich Koch is a lawyer in Brühl with decades of experience in municipal waste management. He was Head of Department at the District Government of Cologne & Head of the Environment Department of the City of Leverkusen. He then managed municipal waste management companies in the Aachen region for 25 years. Parallel to this, he was involved in VKU committees and has been campaigning for waste prevention in municipal practice for many years.

Martin Klingler
Sales Manager, DAKA GmbH
Martin Klingler is an authorized signatory and Sales Manager at DAKA GmbH. With 45 years of experience, he is one of the highest-profile experts in the Tyrolean waste disposal industry. As an expert in comprehensive waste disposal solutions, he supports local authorities and companies in all matters relating to the collection, disposal and recycling of all non-hazardous and hazardous waste. His guiding principle: “Disposal with responsibility” - as a contribution to sustainable waste management.

Margit Klinken

Margit Klinken is co-founder, partner and sales manager of sensis GmbH in Viersen. With over 30 years of industry experience, she is one of the influential voices in the digital transformation of the waste management industry. As an expert in practical software solutions, she supports municipal and commercial waste management companies in the digitalization of their processes. Bernhard Weiskopf is co-partner and Head of Sales, Research and Development at wiegon GmbH. Hubert Rainer manages the building and recycling center of the municipality of Achenkirch with great commitment and a sense of responsibility. With foresight, a hands-on mentality and an open ear for the concerns of the population, he makes a significant contribution to the quality of life in the municipality.
